Maintaining a cooking blog is all the rage. So why am I going to create a home cooking blog? Possibly because I am crazy. But also because I am passionate about cooking. I love to experiment with recipes and learn new techniques and dishes. It is something I love to talk about. So, fine, a cooking blog does not seem as out there as before. But a home cooking blog? I am not a professionally trained chef. I have worked as a cook in a restaurant. But, what I am doing is really home cooking. But who says that can’t be fun and fancy.
Home Cooking Blog
It could be a bit of a misnomer, except for the fact that I am doing the cooking at home. I do like to cook complicated dishes at times. For instance, I went through a pate phase, a confit duck phase, a pickling phase. Right now I appear to be entering a chili hot sauce phase. Some of these items can not be prepared properly in a few minutes or even hours. Many times it is days. But I also have a practical side. When it comes to getting a tasty, healthy dinner on the table in under 40 minutes, I’ve gotten much better with the arrival of kids in my life. Hopefully some of you can benefit from my experiences.
So, this is a blog about my home cooking experiences and that includes successes as well as mishaps. I hope readers will provide feedback as well as their own recipes and kitchen tips and tricks. Enjoy!!
